How to build a community... A Time Bank!

This is a awesome idea!

One I've been looking for for a while.

Barter economy avoids long arm of the law - LewRockwell.com

I wanted to know more! So I went to the website! What exactly is a time bank?

The following video points out many of the advantages... it also points out many of the problems we've been introduced to via the current monetary and government model we've adopted over the past 100 years. The loss of community, the loss of value to individual efforts and the loss of care or concern for our fellow man or woman.

Even the main stream media noticed.

But what is of more importance and something that isn't really mentioned is the possibilities for creativity and invention. Without money or regulation to impede ideas, this is a distinct opportunity for people to try new things. Not just babysitting, tutoring or working as a handyman... this could allow people to really spread their wings and create new services and improve the quality of life for themselves and the community. And the best thing of all is... no IRS!

Who wouldn't want a community that works together and invests in each other?
